The 12th anniversary also includes a new display saluting the Los Angeles Fire Department.
The opening celebration will include 150 students from LA’s BEST after-school program and also kicks-off the start of the Spark of Love Toy Drive sponsored by the City of Los Angeles Firefighters. Guests for the evening are encouraged to bring a new, unwrapped toy to contribute to this worthy effort.
The dazzling festival will be launched with the “flipping of the switch” at 7:30 p.m.
Why: The LADWP’s Holiday Light Festival draws more than 600,000 visitors each year. It is an activity that is free and can be enjoyed by young and old alike.
